Man, I hate when that happens. I have not had this work done, but most places around here guarantee their work. If it sounds/looks/leaks different, have them do it again. My neighbor had 4 windshields replaced before he found one that didn't have a weird spot in his line of sight. I just had to have my truck re-sealed because of a leak.
Just a guess, but I imagine you will spend all of your deductable.
I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks back. I also live in Florida so there was no deductible. I asked the installer how much they charge, he said $928.00. He used a special tool that put down a very thick bead of goober so I doubt that it will leak. You can bet I was right by his side through it all.
My deductible is $100 and my insurance company was charged about $1500 for a HUD version. However, a former coworker had his replaced for $300, since he didn't want to go through his insurance. (I'm not sure why, unless he had a high deductible.)
Not only did my new windshield not leak, but the whole interior smelled like it was brand new again! Make sure you have it done at home so that you can let it sit for a day or two. For this same reason, I recommend that you do NOT have it done at work; too many installers fail to tell their customers that they should not drive the car for a minimun amount of time.
Call your insurance company. Mine (USAA) sends a little man out to fix small nicks so that they dont grow into a bigger crack. If it is a big deal, they will replace it. The people your insurance company recommends are pretty good and will normally come to you at home or office.

I'm not sure about USAA, but some insurance companies that offer this service consider the repair of a windshield a claim. Some don't. And some even consider it a claim if you just call and ask them if you can do this. Interesting world isn't it?
