Broken seat?

Broken seat?

My passenger side seat back feels like it broken on one side. When you lean back, the upper right side leans back further than the left.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Condition
Some customers may comment on the driver's or passenger's seat back twisting.
Cause
This condition may be caused by the seat back recliner cables not releasing together.

See dealer about TSB # 04-08-50-005,,seat back twisting[resynchronize seat back recliner]

My driver side is a little off and does something similar. If I release it all the way forward and then use my back to recline both sides in sync it resets okay. Stupid little fix that works for mine, but mine may not be as far along as yours.

My passenger side seat did that. I just tilted it all the way forward, then all the way back. Then adjusted it where i wanted it and it has worked fine so far. Only happened once.

I went through this when the salesman got in my car and I took him for a ride. He moved it forward and then back and it straightened it right out. Seems to be pretty common.

I had this happen to mine this past summer. A buddy of mine was reaching around for his wallet and we heard a big POP! The outside passenger upper seat frame broke right at the pivot point of the seat. Dealer goodwilled the parts and labor! If the above posts don't fix it, this could be the the reason.
