Default Front left blinker out...how do I replace?

My front left turn signal is out. I bought the bulb, but I just tried to replace it and I did not see an obvious way to do it. Can someone give me the procedure?

If you have someone with small thin arms it's a bonus. I haven't had to replace mine but from what I have read you turn on the headlights to get them up then turn the switch back to running lights and they stay up but turn off. Then you can squeeze your arm in there and get the socket out. That's why if you have a young kid around he or she could probably do it a lot easier than you can. Keep us posted on how you do.

I pulled off the headlight shroud and, being a kid , could get my arm down there to put in clear ones... I didn't like the clear so I pulled them out, but it was easy being a 140lb. guy. Good luck!

It has been about 10 years since I was a 130lb. guy. Does anyone have the shop manual handy that can post the official procedure? There is no way I am going to get my arm in there without taking something else out first...

You can also reach the bulbs thru the brake duct opening...but again, you must have skinny arms.

Turn on the headlights and back off one position to kill the lights.
Unscrew the 3 small screws on the black plastic housing around the headlight. Gently pull the housing clear. Reach down around the headlight unit and release the bulb holder. It unscrews counter clockwise but it has a plastic clip which you need to squeeze to release it. Change the bulb. Reseat the bulb holder and turn until it clicks back in place. Put the plastic housing back in place making sure to locate the small plastic tab in the bracket on the headlamp cover. Replace the 3 screws and close the lights.
10 minute job.

Push the brake duct down out of the way, reach in and find the clip on the holder, mash the clip in and turn CC/W. pull the light fixture out, replace the bulb, reinsert it in the housing, twist C/W till it clicks, your through! About 2 minutes!
I learned that the hard way! Took it to a shop and paid $35 to watch somebody do it! I’ve probably changed 4 of them since!

That works too. Not an easy option for me though as I have Z06 screens in ther brake ducts.

Forget about trying to come in from the top or the brake duct. Unless if you have really skinny arms, it won't work. Just jack up the front of the car or drive up on some ramps and remove the bottom plate by the front wheel well. There's about 7 screws to remove and then you can reach in easily to change the bulb.

This is what I have done. I ended up giving up a flesh and blood to the frame around the headlight in the process but it does work.
