I think you'll find a big price difference in the '99-'00 FRC's from the '01 and higher. The Z06 was introduced in '01 to "replace" the FRC (same body style, just had the Z06 performance enhancements). Absolutely wonderful car. I just prefer top down driving myself! Good Luck!

Funny story, the other day, I went to the local chevy dealer to see if they had any trade-in's on the lot for a good price. The guy said no and then tried to sell me a new GTO saying it has the 6.0 with a six speed manual. I couldn't believe he was trying to talk me out of the vette and into getting a GTO

Hold out for the car you want , I did and stumbled into a pretty good from a Nissan dealer and got mt '99 BLK/BLK FRC and couldn't be happier. Bonus being my 15yr old daughter still doesn't want to learn to drive the 6spd although she could shift her dirt bike.Good Luck in your search and don't be afraid to drive for a clean car !
