I just want to use my first post to introduce myself. I am new here but have been checking out the site for a couple of months. One thing I have to tell you guys is that I don't own a C5, yet. Right now I am driving a 99 Lightning and love it. In about a year, when it is paid off, I plan on getting a C5 to drive around in. By that time I should be able to get the kind I want (99-02 FRC, Pewter) in my price range. If anybody wants, I have a picture of my truck but it is a little big. If you want to see it, just let me know and up it goes. I just thought I would chime in and introduce myself. Looking forward to being able to participate in the "wave" sometime soon!!!
Welcome to Corvetteforum. There are a lot of great folks here and some great information about Vettes. Feel free to ask any question and we'll try to answer.
Welcome to the forum. Good luck in your search for that perfect Corvette. Pull up a chair and have a good look around. You will find most any question answered by the good folks here on the forum.
Welcome to the Forum! You can participate in the wave even in your Lightning. People will figure it's just your daily driver. You may not get alot of return waves but it'll be good practice.
Thanks for the warm welcome!! I would love to have the Corvette now but with the driveway I have, the angle is too much for the Corvette and it would not make it into the garage. No way am I going to own a vette and leave it parked on the street. That just means I have to wait until I sell my house and build my own. Hehe, I like that, sell the house because the vette won't make it down the driveway. Lol.
Welcome to the Corvette Forum. I believe no matter what you have or will own sooner or later most red blooded American's car enthusiasts will want to own a vette, its part of our national soul. Like many of us it takes years to realize our dreams. The C5 is a great platform to start from and easily modded to insane levels of power and performance yet easily maintained and serviced.
Please remember that like any family we have our squabbles and disagreements but don't think for a minute we don't love every Corvette that was ever manufactured. And as other's have said feel free to I get waves all the time from on coming vehicles and it always makes you feel good.
Cheers and I hope you realize your dream as soon as possible.
