I knew what I wanted and found it in the Parts Section. Bought it from a guy in Pennsyvania, got it for 1/2 the price of new and I had absolutely no problem with it !

Used is fine...as long as you're not looking for a set of GHL's!!!

I think trying to remove tonsils from a giraffe would be an easire assignment than locating a set of used GHL Bullets!!!

I would not hesitate buying a used exhaust if the tips looked great! There's no moving parts in an exhaust, what's to break or wear out?

I've had positive experiences buying used parts from Forum members and non-members. That's the great thing about the Corvette community. It could be my imagination, but there seems to less a-holes in the Corvette community, than in the Stang, F-body, and ricer worlds.

To find JUST the right boxes that fit JUST right, I went DUMPSTER diving in the brown cardboard dumpsters. There is a music shop in one of the shopping centers that I got the boxes from. Dont know what came in them but they sure did fit the bill! Sorry to disappoint you. I know that you wanted me to have this great guitar story

FREESTYLER

Titanium is more NOBLE than stainlessteel and also much lighter. It will not rust or degrade but it will tarnish much like silver. It is difficult to get Titanium to shine like stainless. You have to treat the metal chemically to make it shiney. It will last for a very long time. One Ti muffler weighs 13 lbs. A stock C5 base steel muffler weighs 24 pounds.

If a set of Ti mufflers are in excellent condition, they should last a very long time and nothing should go wrong with them. If you damage them, it takes a special welding process to repair them. Regular MIG and TIG welding will not work. They need to have a special shield gass enclosure and special rod.

Bill.
