Didn't buy my car thinking it would not depreciate. I think it has retained its value very well over the 4+ years I have had it. Can't say that much for the other cars I own.

Maybe I should have bought a ratted out '77 that hopefully can only go up in value. Wait a minute, I have a business. It is to make money to enjoy MY LIFE with my family. What is it that ET says? "When your dead you're dead for a long time."? I wonder what that dinner I bought last night is worth now that it's done floating in the toilet?

It sounds to me that deep down you would really rather own a C5. Why else would you feel the need to start a thread like this?

Well my Mamma always told me "Son there is an *** for every seat"

That is what I am going to count on if and when I sell. Who cares, drive it and have fun.

WTF is that supposed to mean ? Everything depreciates until it becomes collectable . Go buy a brand new car drive for a month then trade it in , now that's depreciation . As far as Mormon Girls go there's not too many of them here on the East Coast . Maybe it's just your car they're dropping for .

I bought my '99 coupe six years ago because I'd always wanted a Vette. I'm driving my dream car - who gives a crap about depreciation??
