Default Z06 screens

I am thinking about purchasing some screens, but I have noticed that some are sold with double sided tape or velcro, which is the best?

I used velcro.

Mine have been fitted for nearly a year now and still as strong as Day 1. Velcro lets you take the screens out for washing and cleaning

When I did my research, I came to the conclusion that I wanted the factory GM Z06 foglight screens. The reason is, they have a large plastic frame that allows plenty of surface area for applying the velcro strips that keep it in place. The velcro allows for easy removal if you need to. Be very cautious of the "aftermarket" screens (seen on eBay). They are advertised as being the same stainless steel screen, but they use a plastic edging material that makes it look original from the outside. Plus most of these aftermarket screens are being sold for as much as you can get the original ones from Fred Beans here on the Forum.

For the other screens (front brake duct, side vent, and rear fascia), I bought mine from The Vette Shop . They have the best package (all 6 screens) price that I found.

Good luck!

Mine didn't come with Velcro, but after seeing all the posts about the screens, thats what I did the install with. They've been in for well over a year with no problems......

Mine came with the 2 sided tape. After reading some of the threads here, I removed the tape and bought some Velcro from the hardware store. Mine also have been in place over a year and have had no problems. They're also easy to remove and reinstall.
