Default lowering bolts

Has anyone tried the rear lowering bolts advertised on ebay for about 10 bucks?
I want to lower the rear about 2". Anything else I should consider? New springs? New shocks? I'm trying to do this without spending a bundle and having to make major mods.

i bought them and they are grade 8.. only problem is that you should for safety weld one end on the bottom bolt so it does not twist off while driving... also use washers 100% on both ends.. i made the mistake of using it only on the bottom end and it went right into the rubber bushing and it took me a while to take it out but once i did i went to home dept and spend less then a dollar for an extra pair of washers and no problem...

honestly though i would lower it using the bolt on the car itself and see how it rides... i lowered mine and took it for the first test drive and i felt like i was in a lowrider bouncing all over the place... the stock shocks just had no travel what so ever... it was about 25 1/4 in the rear and 25 1/3 up front .. on the front i cut the bushing and raised the bolt all the way to the top....

a day later i raised it back up in the rear and it rode a little better... but im still waiting to get my HRE wheels back on and see how it rides with those.. this was all done with oem wagon wheels.. ill post pics if someone shows me how to host them...
