Talk about luck. I drove my DD for 154k miles and never had a flat. I put 41k miles on my Vette and no flats(RF's). I decided to go with new rubber and rims (thanks again Chris..ECS) and drop the RF's. Wouldn't you know it within 3 weeks of dropping the runflats I get a screw in the passenger rear tire. This happened Wed 2 weeks ago, thank God it happened when I got home. I pulled my car into the garage, got out and heard ssssssss! so I jumped back in and tore dn to GY where they pulled out a 6" screw out of my tire but that's not it. This past Friday while putting my Euro's back on, I noticed another nail in my drivers side rear tire so I took the tire off and back to GY. This time the tech was not paying attention to what he was doing and snapped my sensor off .Needless to say they got right on it and picked up another sensor and had me out of there in a hour. Man what happened to my luck? Now I have a patch in both rear tires with less than 1k miles on them They are putting up a bank at the corner near where I live, I think I'm getting my screws from there. They are about 95% complete thank God, they need to rap this up I'm sure I'm not the only one having problems. Im just glad that so far all my flats were at home and not on the road. I have all the proper equipment to take care of a flat on the road should it happen or should I say when it happens they way my luck has been going since dropping the RF's

I had a similar run of luck a few years back... fortunately not with the vette. Seemed like for a couple of months, everytime I turned around there was a nail in my tire.
ouch, sorry to hear that...in the 2+ years i've been running non-runflats, i've picked up two nails total. the second one still being in my tire, and that's my excuse for finally putting rubber on my new rims!
Try to avoid any roads used by construction waste trucks headed for landfills. Those tailgates don't stop the spread of nails as they drop them like breadcrumbs so they can find their way back to their site. It really
I picked up a nail about 1/4" from the edge of the tire. It went through but pierced the sidewall. Couldn't plug it. A new tire and $360 lighter I'm still waiting to justify the Pilot Sports
