Default Car Cover question - Really do need Help!

Hi guys,

I read this forum like 10 times a day, always learning and contributing to the forum. I've a simple but important question. My car is usually in the garage for now, so need something to protect it indoors from dust etc. (its a Blk/Blk). I also spend 2-3 nights a week away from home, leaving the car in outdoor parking. I'd like to protect it from the rain, sun, and any person with a mischivious mind. Plz suggest a decent cover which won't harm the Black paint also. I'm open to buying a good quality used cover as well, if someone knows of any... Or a new one, that meets my requirements, but not too expensive. I've done search on the web...what's the cheapest site, or place I can get one..???

Thanks in advance. Really need your input, so plz do reply.

There ain't no next guy replying man. I don't see any more replies. Come on guys, if you're reading a "car cover" post, you either bought one, or have interest in one. So, plz share your knowlege and let me know where I can get a good one, for a decent price. Noah seems good. Anyone know where's the rock bottom price I can get for one of these. I checked they're running $150+ shipped. Mmmm.. too much for me for now...
Thanks for checking in...

I have this one. This is the 3rd one I have owned, and they have all fit well and are well made.

Shop around and you can find a good price. Mine was arounf $100 including the storage bag.

Hope this helps!

Here's the one I use:
http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...J8T41KKLSC5MNE

It's a bit stiff at first, but softens over time. My first one lasted 3 years of daily sunshine.

I am going to Eckler's tomorrow, and that is the one I was thinking of buying, except in the Z06 version
Mine is strictly for indoor use.

Man have I got a deal for you The car cover pictured below was only used once for less than 3 minutes! The company that I bought it from has sold over 2000 of these beauties with only a complaint from one whining, sniveling customer! These suckers fit like a tight glove too. You won't find these babies in stores either. In fact I might be the only one that's willing to admit that he bought one. So make me any 3 digit hefty offer, and we'll negotiate from there

I have the Noah too. Got it from West Coast Corvettes.

It is on my 2002 in the garage right now and when I leave my baby outside it gets covered then too. The Noah/Wolf fits like a glove and does soften over time.

Best covers I've found for indoor, but especially outdoor use are made by California Car Covers.

Bought one for my Cadillac STS.

It's priced at $299! I know, lots of $$$, but sometimes you get what you pay for and I wanted the best I could find.

I don't know the weave but its extremely light weight, easy to fold up and very effective against sun, rain, bird & bug droppings etc.

Its called 'superweave' http://www.calcarcover.com/cover_find2.aspx

..rickko..

Order it direct from Wolf. Don't mess with Ecklers.

I've had the Noah, for my C4 and it was ok, nothing special. For my C5, I have a Coverking, and it is lighter and fits better, and IMHO it looks much better.

Bought the GM cover which is fine. My is in the garage all the time so I was looking for something to take care of dust issues. Probably should have shoppped around though. Its a good cover, but I know now I would have gotten a better deal if I had not gone through the General.
