I start by monitoring my cold tire pressure to make sure they are at 30 psi. Then switch to oil temp.
I like to check it all out and always have something on the DIC but most of the time it’s the oil temp.

Well lets see, I start with the fuel range, then oil pressure, then odometer, then over to tire pressure,
then back over to fuel range, next avg. speed, then batt volts, then after that oil life, then elapse time,
then coolant temp, and maybe trans. temp. and finally back to elapse time...ok just kidding I'm an odometer guy...hehe

I leave it blank because I don't want to see the mileage racking up.

OIL PRESSURE,,,OIL PRESSURE,,, OIL PRESSURE...
You have no immediate need to know about the state of your fuel level...
You have no immediate need to know what the voltage is...
However if the oil pressure fails...
GAME OVER!!! GAME OVER!!! GAME OVER!!!

Exactly what I do.

If only there was a way to have it scan each display/function for 3-10 seconds...
That would be great. Anybody out there able to hack into the system and make it happen??

That's why I watch it too. I wish we had a DIC screen for KR so I could monitor my tune for serious problems without having to hook up my laptop.
