I joined the first year I had my Vette (and not since) simply to be allowed to park up on a hill with many other C5s at Carlisle.
After the xperience I was not motivated to fork over another $65.
You get a newsletter periodically, some stickers for your window and some discounts at vendors similar to those at Corvette Forum.
As far as Carlisle goes, now I enter my car in the York County Corvette show they have at that time, pay a $15 entry fee and have a great spot for my Corvette for the whole weekend. I just put a sign on it indicating I do not want to be judged.

I joined for one year too and paid my $65. Got the magazine, checked out their web site and just did not feel it was worth the cost to keep up my membership. Places like Ecklers give a 10% discount on parts for being a member, so if you order a lot of things, it may pay off.
