I was driving at my normal pace in my red FRC witch just happened to be 69 in a 50 and my radar went off in laser mode but, I thought it was a false alarm because I was just keeping up with traffic. The funny thing was is I was in the slow lane driving the same speed as everyone else and, he still picked me out of the crowd. So I pull over and asks me if it is my car in witch I reply yes(but im kinda used to it) he later explains that they have gotten complaints about speeders in the area causing accidents in the area. He then apologized for having to give me the ticket. In the end I was set back $250 but, I did have respect for the police officer.

Plead not guilty and demand a trial. Maybe the officer won't appear, and your case will get dismissed. Find out, however, if you qualify for traffic school, and if you qualify for the school if you are found guilty. Completion of traffic school might keep it off your record, depending on your state. If you don't qualify for traffic school after trial, you might want to avoid trial and avoid the conviction by going to the school.
It would be hard for me to respect an officer who singled me out because of the type of car I was driving.

Well stated!! Definitely go to court if he is really sorry he won't show up.
I spotted a red c5 over a mile away on the interstate, it screamed "look at me, look at me" God it was beautiful.... The curse of the red vette is fulfilled...definitely not guilty...Insurance is high enough w/out that crap, is it your car, please, give me a break
Yup, sounds like you were profiled to me. As previously mentioned, I'd go to court and hope the officer doesn't show. Even if he does, your fine will probably be reduced unless your driving record sucks. It's definitely worth missing a day at work!

You may of been going the pace the traffic was going, reasonable and prudent...so as to not cause an accident.
This is a reasonable defense...but I would opt for driving school and no points if applicable

FWIW....if Arnold (Steel) got stopped by a deputy in my agency and he got a ticket..he deserved it...(damn Arnold I told you to drop my name bro) our agency writes less citations than anyone.....in the meantime you need to swing by FRC Tom's house so he can program your car....max speed 55...you can't afford many more man
Yes you may have been exceeding the posted limit if everyone else was why not stop the first car in the line , he/she would have been the first target . Since you were "profiled" because of your car you should know better next time , Even though your car is better prepared (braking , handling , etc) to do those kind of speeds. More than even the police cruiser .
A long time ago I heard if you pay a couple of cents over the amount owed, the ticket will never show up on your license since the court cannot credit you back.
I'm not sure if this is true or not.
