Default Option code question..

I have done a search on this already and really didn't find the answer that I was looking for. I never realized holding down the active handling button for 5 secs would drop me into comp. mode. Competitive mode did display on my DIC. The only problem that I have is that I have JL9 instead of JL4 for an option code. Does this matter? Thanks,

B

JL9 is the RPO code for the 4 wheel disc anti-lock brakes. (obviously standard equipment).

If you have a 2002 like your profile indicates, Active Handling (JL4) also came standard, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Thanks Y2K. I do have a 2002 but I just wasn't too sure if it was supposed to still appear in the option codes. Thanks for the 411

Second-Generation Active Handling became standard equipment on all C5s in model year 2001:
