Default Best brake setup?

I have an 02 Z and would like to upgrade my current brake set up. Was thinking of going with Eradspeed rotors of Delcos with ceramic pads and DRM brake ducts. Car is mostly for street use although I do about 4 track events per year. I already have put in Motul and upgraded brake lines. Thanks for the help,Buzz

For the street it does not matter. However, for track events, No drilled and slotted rotors. They will crack from hard braking and use. and diffintly NO ceramic brake pads if you want to stop at all.

Ceramics take up to 5% longer to stop under normal conditions and on the track will glaze over and cause brake fade and faluire faster then you can say oh chiiiiittttttt. Once you use real good brake pads you will never use ceramics again, no matter what the dust problmes are.

Most track guys use the NAPA $25 rotors and a race pad. They change back and forth from street bling bling to race set up.

If the rotors you are looking at are NOT drilled then you should be OK, but will only last 2 maybe 3 events. That is way we use the $25 rotors. More expenisve rotors dont last longer unless you are going to a Big Brake Kit and thicker rotors - which is big big bucks

Pads, for street use the stock Z06 is about the best you can get. Hawk HPS dust soooo bad and wont last one weekend on the track.
Hawk HP plus also dust and are much better on the track but also one weekend and they are toast.

Popluar race pads:
CarboTech XP 9, 10 or 11s
Hawk Black, blue, HT10, HT11, HT12 ( very dusty pads )
PFC-01s
