Sure. Why buy a Rolls to go to a tractor-pull?

Been Reading...Must Chime in!!!!

First I am a die hard VIPER fan, but I LOVE My 2001 C5!!!!

I have driven all 3 and here are my feelings about them:
VIPER---AWESOME enough said! But you will pay the price for this bad boy, but will need little modding to get where you want to be.

C5----I LOVE IT!!! Lots of power, but at the same time it is a daily driver and I love seeing heads turn and little kids pointing at car!!! Need some mods to get where you want to be

SVT Cobra---does make a good bit of power, but I haven't lost to one yet. Car does seem to pull hard, but all v8 mustangs have that "FEEL" of being fast! BUT it is still a mustang, kinda cheap feeling/looking. But the 04 cobra has the power.

MY VOTE-----VIPER if you have the $$$$$ to spend, C5 if you want an EXCELLENT all around, HEAD TURNING machine!!!!!!!!!

Thanks,
Jamey

Myself also.. i contemplated btwn the c5 and svt cobra. At the end of my decision i came to this:

It will cost a bit more to get to 11s with vette but im in a vette NOT a Mustang.

Better handling car, gets more turns, and more comfy! With all that i said i went with a c5!

I think the Viper is wacky looking.

the newer style is better, but still has a long way to go for myself to like it.

Kinda looks like a professionally made "kit-car" to me. But I have respect for the engine and it's engineering.

I would go with the Vette, add a intake, exhaust, cam, blower and ls1 edit and you should be where you want to be as far as ET. The viper is a beast but its too expensive to buy, insure and mod and the mustang other than bieng a ford handles like a bathtub compared to the c5. Good luck
