Default The Wave! Not...

I have conducted a little experiment over the last three weeks. every time that I pulled up along side a vette or passed one and a guy was driving I would get a or a . This has always been the case in the four years I've had my vette. Everytime I passed a vette with a female driver I didn't get ****, even if they were right beside me traveling the same damn direction. What is really funny is that my wife who also drives the vette once in a while, is the one who noticed this, driving home from work one day. Here is the results

26 vette's
17 men driving - 15 wave's
9 women driving - 1 wave

Five vettes were C4's- (men driving) all waved.

One C3, (women driving) - one wave. She was going the opposite direction.

Four vette's I pulled up next to, or they pulled up next to me would'nt even look or just looked away.

When my wife drive's, she always waves.

Just thought this was interesting.

While we're waiting for a snappy comeback from Daveyboy
I gotta say I must be lucky cuz I get waves from all vettes... however I have yet to get a single wave from a C6 driver. I'm thinkin they must be new to vette protocal and need ed-u-ka-shun

So to all you C6 drivers... WELCOME TO THE FAMILY and IT'S OK TO WAVE !

In general I think women are more selective about who they wave at in any situation. I don't blame them.

Yeah, it can get a little frustrating when they don't wave back. I am hesitant to wave anymore, but if someone waves I wave right back with a thumbs up too.

Hey Dave, I've got a 1 finger wave for ya .

Come on now... do you really not know why female Vette owners resist the wave?

When male drivers wave at other male drivers, it's understood that the wave is a thumbs-up about the car. When a female waves, the other male Corvette driver is likely to think it's about him.

It may not be the case if the female isn't all that attractive, or she happens to wave at the one-in-a-millon male Corvette drivers that are not leg-humpers. But the odds favor her getting "slobbered" at.

Seriously now... did you not already know this ?

In general I think women are more selective about who they wave at in any situation. I don't blame them.
ding... ding... ding; we have a winner !

Its not like they are waving at any car out there! and if the wave is initiated, think common courtesy! As I stated My wife is the one who brought it to my attention. She does not wave at every car she passes, but she will wave at vettes.

And I actually get more wave's from women that are not driving vettes than the one's in vettes.
