Coming up to a "T" intersection today, the big pickup truck in front of me got in the left lane and turned his left turn signal on to turn left. I started to pull into the right lane to turn right and all of a sudden, the truck turned right in front of me. I stopped and he just rubbed the whole right side of his truck across my front left corner. The State Trooper gave him a ticket for making an improper turn and sent me on my way.
I can see the front fascia and the left front fender are torn apart. The lower light assembly is cracked and broken. The left headlight still goes up and down and does not appear to be damaged. I have no idea what pieces are underneath everything or what damage is hidden.
Tomorrow I will take it to the adjuster my insurance company (USAA) selected and then to my favorite body shop to see what Chris can do for me.
More to come...

Unfortunately I have my fair share of experience with C5 accidents. I want to make a prediction let me know how close I get $7600.00. I have USAA they usually do pretty good. Only have had one problem with them in 25 years.
Daaayyummm....sorry to hear. Now I'll throw in the obligatory "cars can be fixed, people can't - so glad you were not hurt" -line in a futile attempt to appease your suffering.
