The same thing happened to me many years ago. The guy in front of me put his blinkers on to turn left so I moved to the right to pass him. All of a sudden, he turned right and of course, smashed into me. Since he and his wife were older folks, the cop believed them when they said they had turned their right blinkers on. The sad thing was that it was my brother's car that I was driving!

Sorry to hear about your encounter.

USAA is great. They will stand behind the work that one of their "Approved" shops does.

Good Luck.

Man, that stinks. I'm sorry for the trouble, but I bet you'll get her fixed back to good as new.

That is a painful sight. Sorry about the damage, and hope that your body shop can get it back to perfect shape again.

It's a shame to see, & while it may not be a "cure" I always run with my running lights on for an added visual impact on those who are maybe a little lazy about looking before they make a move (especially in my direction!)... good luck with the repairs. Keep on choochin'

Why are you using your insurance company? Was the trucker uninsured? I would think that if he got a ticket and was at fault, his insurance company would cover all of your repairs?

What crock.
Glad you were not hurt.
Some people should just take the bus.
Almost got it last night. High School kid, talking on the cell and putting on eye makeup. Unfriggin believable.
In my lane, residential area, she definately had a case of cranial rectitus.
Good horn on these Vettes and the long loud pedal works great too.

Sorry this had to happen to you, I would be sick about it. In your opinion, and I'm just curious, after you had time to think about it, how could this accident have been avoided? Could it have been?
