I thought I read somewhere at on at least the 2001 models, maybe other newer models also? that the calipers on the standard coupes and convertibles were the SAME as on the Z06, just that the Z06 was red colored. Is this correct?
Also, I've read somewhere that easy way to keep paint off the letters is to go over each letter w/ Chapstick (the stuff you put on your dry lips), then paint the calipers, then when dry wipe off the Chapstick.

I painted mine black a few weeks ago with a $17 brush on kit from a local auto parts store. They turned out OK, but if I had to do it again I'd definitely go with the spray paint.
For the raised leters I just painted over them while doing the caliper body, then used a small wire wheel on my Dremel to take the paint off the letters.
