Need some Clay Bar tips....

That does not matter becuase the clay bar will remove everything including the wax and you will be very happy.
All clay bar kits include a spray detailer as a lube ( dont use water and soap you wont get the same results).
Pull off part of the clay bar and soften by working it in your palm. Flaten to about the size of a half dollar and proceed with wetting the area ( fender, door , hood or quater at a time) with the detailler and proceed as if you were washing that section. Turn the clay often to keep the clay clean against your car.
Many environmental contaminants adhere to your paint so strongly, that even a high-quality car wash cannot remove them. Some may be visible to your eye. Others you'll detect when you pass your hand across the finish after washing and notice it doesn't feel as smooth as glass.
All of these contaminants can reduce your shine and ultimately do permanent damage to your paint. A safe, non-abrasive clay bar and high lubricity quick detailer like those found in Meguiar's Quik Clay System will safely remove above surface, bonded contaminants, quickly and easily. (Never use sharp, abrasive rubbing and polishing compounds that will scratch your car's finish.)

After I was the car, I leave the car wet. After claying, I was the car again to remove any clay residue.
While using the clay (in fact, during the entire detailing process), I wear non-talc rubber gloves. You can get a box of 100 from WalMart, CVS, etc., for about $5. Rubber gloves help you hang on to that slippery claybar.
