Default Chrome vette emblems

I need to buy a chrome vette emblem somewhere. I know Mid-America has them for $40. Is that the cheapest I'm going to find one?

You might consider posting a WTB in the Parts section. Also, not sure about this but SS Inserts (Forum Vendor) may have the badges. Worth checking....

I was going to make my own exhaust plate with the chrome emblem, but Mid-America doesn't have any of them in stock. (It was actually the waterfall emblem.)

I'm not a fan of exhaust plates AT ALL (bling bling!!), but since I got my new 2 tip exhaust I the gap looks horrible. So I'm going to fill it in with this Ecklers exhaust plate that is my vette's body color with a chrome logo: Ecklers navy blue exhaust plate. I've got clear euro lights, SS inserts, and polished tips so this should fit the theme nicely. Hopefully I won't have too much bling back there

Actually, I have the Eckler's exhaust plate, and I'm not that impressed with it. The emblem isn't exactly chrome -- it's actually mirrored plastic that's cut into several sections and pieced together to form the emblem. From a distance, it's not too bad, but from up close it looks pretty crappy... I too have the 2-tip exhaust, and you're right -- you need something! I'm either going to get this plate without the black emblem for $75:

Or have one made in similar style to that one, but that will fill up the gap better between the 2-tips... Then I'll paint it satin black to match the color intended for the lower rear valance, and add an emblem. Here are the emblem options I've come up with:

Silver Emblems - might be a little less blingy for you ($79.95 for front and rear):

Or Chrome Emblems from Ecklers (if you don't mind ordering from them).

If you don't care about size: 4" width for $54.99:

Waterfall for $69.99:

Hood for $69.99:

Rear Deck for $69.99:

I haven't found chrome emblems AVAILABLE anywhere else period, much less elsewhere for less...

As an owner of chrome emblems on the front and rear (not in a vendor capacity) let me forwarn you that they discolor quickly. The inserts fade, and a couple of the flag chips actually fell out. The chroming is very cheap and will chip easily showing what appears to be brass underneath with any small road debris or stone.

Never got so many great comments when they were new, but now, I am embarrassed at the look and only about a year old. Got mine on Ebay after ordered from Ecklers and they claim they got "lost in the mail". I believe Mid-America sells them as a set, if you are still looking for them.
