Not sure on that page. I would think that the GM-10 Aux is the one on that page but it looks different than the one in the link I posted below. This one will work:
Anyone know which cable to use on this site to connect iPOD to the factory radio in an 04 Coupe with CD player? http://www.installer.com/aux/
I am not sure about wiring directly to the head unit, but I bought an adaptor from . It connects to the stock cd changer in the rear hatch. It works ok, has it quirks but i'm definatley satisified with it. It also charges the iPod while the car is off.
the ipod2car is cheaper and connects easily as unplugging cable from cd-changer unit in the boot, and taking that cable and attaching it to a 'gender bender' (GM-10AUX or something cable $20) -- then the ipod2car easily connects to THAT cable
... from there its a snap, the ipod2car has a nice long lead and a connector that fits miniIpod or the biggies...
perfect
plus your ipod does the equalising... 12 band or so - by song, genre, albumn etc -- no need to **** about with the 'bass, treble' ***** anymore
If you have the 12 disc changer you need the GM-10 Aux. (it's called a PIE)
One of our supporting vendors can help you. Tuan Le is awsome !
There were extensive threads a while back on installing an iPOD. Here is one of Tuan's posts. (PS I LOVE MY iPOD in my car !!)
To get great audio quality from IPOD (or any other MP3 devices) into your stock Bose system, you would need to get 2 items. The cd-changer wiring harness and the GM10-AUX adapters. The cd-changer wiring harness plugs into the cd-changer port on the passenger side footwell, and the GM10-AUX adapter plugs into the cd-changer wiring harness and coverts it over to RCA input port. From there, you can practically hook up any devices with stereo output.

I do not have the CD changer; just the head unit. Would I only need the one cable then? I know some of these questions may be simple but, I know NOTHING of electronics. :o
If you have the 12 disc changer the PIE is the interface from the GM wiring harness to enable you to use RCA connections. There is no way to hook directly up to the head unit (if you have the stock BOSE system)
if you DONT have the 12 disc changer there is a different hook up procedure.
