I just got back from the Myrtle Beach SC car show. Several Forum members showing. I placed 4th in the late C5. But there were guys there that took mods to a whole new level. It only proved to me that there is no such thing as being done with modding. There is such a thing as being tastless with mods but there was a guy from Florida that wrote the book on modding mods! All in good taste. Easy 200,000 in this vette.
I have a whole new list of things to do!!!!

There it is; you know exactly what you want Stu. Now focus on it and move on to the new canvas.

At least you'll still be on the forum.

Poor Poor Stu,
This sounds like the ramblings of a confused man, or a man deeply in love (with a C6). Hahahaha. His hormones all mixed up, just look at that quote You're lucky you are so liked around here Stu that kind of dirty material could get you banned.

...There it is...alas it is in the open...

the other thing I fear...the delimma...
do I leave behind you C5 stragglers...and mind you the majority of Stuz Cruzers... for the C6...

...am I forever banned from the group I have supported so long...
Will I find new friends on the C6 forum or a bitter group of old guys who are unable to go back...

...I should be thankful I was not described as a confused OLD man...

...you see all of this is theropeutic and ultimately a digest should be developed to help the extreme modders cope...

Some how i've become the go to guy for putting mods on cars...perhaps its the garage....or the drinks <when stuz not around>...But if you want to do the insulation i'm sure we can work something out....

BBQ/going away party for BUD, in two weekends or so?! How's that sounds...with a cruise before the food of course.

$170K ...for F430 with or without a top ...hmmm very tempting...

or

...3 corvettes or ...2 corvettes with mods...
...or 1 fully custom twin turbo corvette vert...

as usual the inclination is American...
...I grew up driving a 69 Jaguar XKE...
even then preferred the muscle cars...

I dont think this...

...will extricate me from this mod crisis...

Oh Stu that's ok, i promise we'll help you mod your new F430....

Honestly i think you should really go with the z06, you'll fall in love, especially as soon as you get it back from Lingenfelter or ECS with a twin-turbo kit on it.

I think what happens in most cases is you mod what has already been modded.

Ever consider a wide body kit?

Hey Ted...
nope...just painted over half of StuzVette though...
...I hate to think of flushing those bucks...

the only body mod I am thinking of is a spoiler...low profile
...or stainless steel bars in place of the Z06 screens

BTW...your vette looks great!
