My vote is for LT headers... Then tune... Then new wheels... Maybe some HRE's... Or spend some SERIOUS dough and get those new carbon fiber wheels... 19/20 inch combo. Then that opens up more mods -- larger rotors, bigger calipers, etc...
Mods never end Stu. You know that. I wish they could end with me.
But the more you have the more problems that can happen. If your happy stay that way trust me. I have done about as much as you can to a C5 and dealing with some of what I delt with getting to this point almost makes it not worth it.

I can think of a lot of things I still want to do to my car, but at some point I have to step back and say perhaps I have spent enough on this car. I've been slowing down lately for just that reason.
...any of you gotten to a point in modding when the major work is done...
...now only left looking for something to mod...
...or is all about upkeep from now on for you too...
Do we need a Consulting Council to recommend mods to improve what we think is finished...? :o
Myself and the rest of the counsel have deliberated. You need to pimp your ride. Get rid of the stock wheels, add some 20" chromes, maybe a hot paintjob. You also need twin nitrous bottles that are painted w/your stuzvette logo.

Stu,
I think your car looks great as is. If you want another project car to mod, take mine. I just do not have the time to do any mods. Hell, I got the stainless steel letters for the back of the Corvette and the Corvette emblem for the steering wheel last August at Corvettes at Carlisle and still have not got around top getting those mods completed. Just to dang busy.
I could stand to have the rotors painted, the vert top replaced and the stupid rocking seat problem fixed.

What's wrong, Stu? Jami won't let you put your grubby little hands on her C6. It's ripe for modding......... BTW, I think the C6 Z06 idea is a splendid one......

Funny you should say this Stu. You are the third hard core modder that has said this - the other 2 will remain nameless (but you know who you are )
You guys are modding your mods - and think that you have run out of things to mod.
Me - I could EASILY sink $200,000 into my baby and not be " done moddin' " There is just such a vast collection of things I could do to a C5 it boggles the mind.
Like I said, I know two other hard core modders that thinks they have done it all - and like you, is wondering what to do next. Like you, they think if they do anymore, it will look overdone.
And while I am not a fan of either of your 2 latest mods - that's just my own humble opinion. Do not let that stop you!!!
Mod On, Stu!
You (and those other 2 crazies) carry the flame for poor neophytes like me to look up to, emulate and follow.
looks like you are to the point of needing a new canvas.
or maybe painting over your canvas right now .. a paintjob maybe?
i personally mod my cars to get to a certain point .. where i am obviously nowhere near on my vette and once i get there, i hate ever thinking of parting with her.
we've had our 90 mustang since new, the mods we did to it were very well done and tasteful .. i couldn't imagine not having our baby in the family.
