Default Dash Mats

Thinking about getting a Dash Mat. Anyone have one? Where did you get it and do you have pics? Thanks in advance.

I have one. Bought it off of Ebay. I am really in the middle of the road on it. Like the idea, but I can't get it to lay just right since I won't use the velcro stickies to secure it. Not sure if I will keep it or not. Been in the car for about 3 weeks now. It was made by Cover King. Nice C5 logo embroidered just over the center A/C vent. Does help with reflections some.

I have a Dash Mat in my wife's mini-van. It doesn't lay down very good, even with the velcro stickies. So for the vette, I went with a sunshade with the C5 logo on it.

I would not one, I always thought they were used to cover cracked, faded and ugly dashs.

1980 called ...
They want their dash mat back.

If it's UV protection you want, there is a CLEAR window film, which filters it out, more than the glass alone. Check your local tint shop.

I guess I'm in the minority here. We have a few members in our club that use them mostly for longer trips to reduce glare and protect dash when car is driven over long periods. They take them out for car shows etc. In other words they use them kind of like a floor mat. I have one on order from Corvette America and will let you know how I like it when it comes next week.

I have one and I like it. It cut down on a lot of glare. Mine is just plain black with no logos or anything. I got mine from Dashmat, and I bought it my local auto parts store. Fits fine!

You could always go the poor mans route. Throw a thick towel up on the dash.
