I'm too much of a purist to ever consider something like this but having said that, this is one of the nicest looking conversions I've seen and I give it a thumbs up.
I love the rear view and I am torn on the side profile...Overall very cool but I think a nice set of Torq Thrust II's or some CRAGAR SS wheels would complete it
I'd say it looks much more realistic than the other old vette kit, and think you need the wheels to "complete" the look. The other glaring difference is the windshield.
This thing is much cooler than the 53 kit car I have seen. The 53 look distorted, whereas the proportions on this one seem closer the the real deal.
I love it...chrome the windshield frame (cheaper than chopping probably), Crager SS wheels (or even chrome thin spokes) and your choice of BB/Borla/Corsa/GHL exhaust should complete the picture.
I understand why some people would want this....old school looks with modern day performance and reliability.....but that's not me. I'd rather have the car as delivered. To me, the modern designs are just soooo much more attractive. If I had really wanted 1960's looks, I'd have bought a C2. That goes for the rest of the full body kits as well.
