You'll find that the 335's will rub, unless you have tubbed the "Vette".
Depending on the manufacture (and they differ), 305's will work, unless you have rear vents. In that case you'll find that when the car is lifted, the tires will rub on the internal (within the wheel well) component of the air vent.
what does tuubed mean? rolling the fenders? 305/?/18?
The inter fender wells are cut, and in most cases, replaced with other aftermarket ones (call one of the forum tunners or 21st Century at 972 417 7177).
This allows a wider wheel to fit.
The 305 tire sizes that will fit are the 305, 35 04 40, 18.

No tube & no rub here. Depends on the offset of the wheel.
I run two sets of 335s. 18x335/30 Mich PS on 11 1/2 rim, no rub and 18x335/30 Hoosier SO3 on a 12" rim. These I need a 3/8 spacer and longer lug bolts. The tire sticks out about 3/4" Hoosiers say 335 but are really about 340.
Many guys run 315s in back with out any worry. NO tub and do not stick out. 315s on a 11 1/2 rim.
how much $ is it to tub a vette? where can I do it? I live in Dallas, Tx.
I have a 00' corvette coupe that hasnt been lowered. Is 305's the widest I can go without having any problems? Can someone host some pics of their car so I can get an idea how it will look?

There is a Thread on how to do this, here on the forum. If you do a search, it should turn up.
However, I don't think that you will be ablu to store the roof in the back after you have the car tubbed.
