Cobra Owner
Yesterday,i was at my friends house when this cobra owner(my friend's friend)started putting me down (talking smack of my vette)for buying a vette,he said that his cobra cost him less $$$$$ and (which is very true)has more hp than my vette c5.
I interrupted him and told him that I bought my corvette because it has been my long time dream to own one ,and hp never came in play when i bought it. then i continued to explain to him that if i want to beat his cobra i would just have bought the Z06!!!!!!! or purchase a supercharger
but i just enjoy my vette just how it is.
My bro has an 04 cobra,so i know what a cobra is capable of so i respect cobras . here is my baby[IMG]

No matter how much respect you show towards a FORD owner, they always seem to want to talk smack. Well, you guys can have your fast FORDs, because I enjoy my SWEEEEET VETTE and ever played that game, what car would you rather have to neutral people....most will tell you they would rather have a VETTE!

mustang guys bother me. they love talking trash, but they rarely can hang with us. then when they lose (usually pretty bad) they have some lame old excuse like "my computer is backfiring". I've heard that one. or the most popular, I lost traction.
all I can say is my vette must run 11's, cause I raced a "12 second" mustang and beat the pants off of him. he "lost traction" of course so did I. funny huh? those guys get to me. not much respect for the highest maintenance car ever made, aka ford mustang.

Man this is sick.People r acting like kids(cobra owner).My sh...tis better than your sh...t.Even it is so what?What is the purpose of this conversation.If you like a vette u buy a vette,if u like a cobra u buy a cobra.If u can afford u buy both of them.This is not a freaking race and there is also better than the other one,ALL THE TIME.This is just a way of enjoying your short life.Stop your dog fight(cobra owner),and kill your egos.Try to enjoy your life.That` s that much simple.ENJOY YOUR LIFE.

Did you tell him that if he removes his supercharger that he would be seeing your taillights from a distance? THat's just it. They can't really compare a stang to a Vette because it is comparing apples and oranges.

Real Cobras were made in the 60s by AC and Shelby. Just cause Ford puts a decal on a Mustang dosen't really make it a Corbra. This is not to 'put down; the current Mustang, just to defend the real history of of the Real Cobra cars. Today, Shelby and Superformance are making nice replicas of the 60s design.......Nice cars, and certainly not Mustangs.
There have been a few times already when I had the opportunity to deliberately 'put my foot in my mouth' with Mustang 'Cobra' owners by blurting out "I thought you said you owned a Cobra, Heck, thats just a mustang with a big motor and a decal! Shelby built the real Cobra!"

Dang! I bought a Vette, when I could of had two mustangs!
