What would some of you guys like to see in the next generation/model of corvette? Body styling/Preformance/All around design?
OHHHH I dunno!? Maybe 725 hp, 700 ft. lbs TQ, 7 sec quarter mile times at 170 mph, limitless top end, slicker styling than the Enzo Ferrari, free bumper to bumper "no fault" maintenance for 100,000 miles (even if damage is caused by mods or excessive racing), 24 hour available detailing at your home (with detailers that look like Carmen Electra), 3 year unlimited gas card, free insurance, a free "color swap" trade in policy (ok....limited to 3 times per year), with a $25,000 MSRP and $5,000 rebate! I think that about covers my wish list!!

Be careful what you wish for.. if they dropped it to that price, you'd see every 16 year old kid driving one around too. Then the vette is no better than a civic.
Hotaperc5, thats some funny stuff. we can all wish i suppose. And NO all wheel drive! they have never been and should never be a all wheel drive model!
Bring back pop-up lighting, bigger brakes, AWD option, factory fluid coolers, bullet proof trans and a min. of 550 hp. Last but not least.....MUCH better style than the C6. And maybe a burger and some fries too
Shahram
Pop up lights, yes! Crappy nylon gears in the headlight motor, hell no!
V8 in the front. 6 speed in the middle. Rear wheel drive in the back.
I'm undecided if I'd like to see Vettes with anything except a V8 (V10, V12, etc)
More power would be nice. I mean, last two generations: ~350 from 5.7, 400 from 6.0. Seems like they are underachieving a bit (most likely from emissions or safety reasons)
If Ferrari can get 500 hp from a 4.2 V8 (F430) I don't think it's unreasonable for GM to get 475hp+ from a 6.0+ for the next generation.
How about forged internals(c'mon ford did it with the cobra...), a tougher drivetrain that can handle power w/o snapping, flip up lights with brass gears that wont strip, no runflats, and more rear gear choices. And it should cost no more than $50k for a base model.
EDIT: Oh, and how about being able to pull the engine out of the top of the car for a change and not have to remove the rest of the drivetrain to do it.

Hey, i was 16 and my first car was a Vette But i agree, if you drop the price you will see one in every garage. And then Corvettes will turn into the next Honda.
Also, AWD (optional), Tiptronic (or equivalent) auto (though I'd still buy a 6-speed), mid engine would be cool (certainly make it easier to hook up the rear wheels with big HP), Twin Turbo 427(optional), coil-overs, optional C7-R suspension, oh yeh - and Carmen Electra for "detailing."
I would imagine by the time we see a c-7 that the Camero will be back in production.
IMO GM will postion the Camero into the marketing slot where the Vette currently sits, and you will see the c-7 taken to TRUE super car status.
Vette owners have been screaming for years 'we want more power, we want better leather, we want better paint, give us better tires, make the drive train bullet proof".......Well, IMO GM will give Vette owners what they have been screaming for, and the cost will be a smidge under 100k, and people will line up to buy em.
