you might want to post this over in the Great Lakes section..but while we are here, if all you changed was your air intake, and cat-back exhaust then I would not recommend a Dynotune and LS1 edit..it of course will not hurt anything, but it's fairly expensive, and you'll see minimal change with the minor mods you have done thus far... not trying to be a jerk or anything, I just don't think it's worth the 500 bucks or so...now if you have added headers/cam etc,, then by all means
I have heard good things about BV Performance in Arlington Heights, and Speed INC as well.
If you really want to talk to someone who knows their stuff..contact Kevin at HP Performance in Mundelien, he is also the Vette Tech at Benard Chevy in Libertyville..but owns his own performance shop for vettes
he does not have a dyno at his shop, but I would recommend you speak with him.let me see if I can find a link for you....
here you go...

I can vouch for FLP. They've put on my headers (FLP system), thrermostat and of course the reprogram. Great product and they are easy to work with. They will be upfront and tell you what works and what doesn't. FLP has worked with a lot of the members of Fox Valley Corvette Club and the experiences have all been positive.
Hope this helps on your way to the mod habit. Once you have it, you can't shake that monkey off your back.
See ya on the road!
