if I had to pick one, I'd go with the 1st one posted.
If it were me I'd get a nice leather one, maybe a 2 tone color one and get a matching leather lower cover too.
actually, yes I do... the other ones don't fit in with the car.. theres no other aluminum on the interiors.. unless you have a bunch of aluminum in there... I just don't think it matches... theres lots of leather... so I prefer the black leather...
you asked... I answered... more power to you though... im sure you will enjoy it... (as long as its not in the direct sun )

I also have the aluminum gas pedel and dead foot. And yes, they do get hot.
The Black leather is a good look. Just like playing.

My dad just bought a 2005 Honda Accord 6speed coupe... it has an aluminum shifter.... MAN THAT GETS HOT!!
when we test drove the car for the first time, it was 105 outside, so it had been sitting all day in that heat... we couldn't shift with bare hands... we had to use my hat... HOT!!!
At least with an auto-tranny, you don't have to keep your hand on the shifter. I think swapping out shifter ***** is a good way to keep the interior interesting.
I like the Hurst myself. I tried to get one but could find one with the right threads. I want to get one and polish it I like the look of polished aluminum.

How's this - it'll burn your hands off, but boy does it look good!
I've got the old style Hurst handle in my toolbox from days gone by...
I used to make Piston style handles like what was in the movie American Graffiti (John Milners Car, yellow 32 coupe). I still love a piston handle... not good for holding or shifting but awesome cool looks IMHO.
My Vette still has the orig. manual ****... so far... I actually thought about adapting that old Hurst handle to my shifter but it would be WAY too cumbersome in a manual.. WAY to cumbersome...

Hey Fred
...I wanna play...
I like old school with matching aluminum...
The T-shifter does have a good feel doesnt it!
Speaking of hot...Ecklers Fall show is coming up in October...will you be there so maybe we can get a bunch of us together again for Dixie Crossroads in Titusville>?
Man that does look great Dave. Are you making those too?
Ed, this would end up being too expensive for most people; it is actually a master from which my molds for the polyurethane ***** are made. This master was machined on a 4 axis CNC and then polished to a mirror finish. I'm occasionally tempted to install it in my car, just to see how it feels (but not after sitting in the sun!).
