Default Cleaning My Borla's

Just got back from Carlilse a short while ago!! After more than 6 hours of driving through the rain my poor baby looked very tired and dirty. I immediately gave her a bath and everything cleaned up fine with the exception of my Borla's. Before I left to Carlisle they looked shiney and new...Now they look tarnished, grey and old with some black soot on the inside. Tried like crazy to get them clean with no success. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get these looking new again?

I'll watch this post, same problem. Did you have them installed there? I did.

Everytime I wash my car, I make sure to clean inside the tips very well! I just use some rim cleaner and small brush, works good for me.....

I've read that vinegar will clean it very well. Now if you want it to really shine, then get this:

Here's the answer. Wipe them off with a rag and window cleaner. Then polish with mothers or nxt all metal polish. After that, if you wipe the inside out with nxt speed detailer after you drive it, it will come right off. The quick detailers break that soot down for some reason. Let it sit over night and it will take more effort.

However, if you have alum rims, this kit is best (good for the Borla tips and the rims)
