Decided to keep the wife, thanks to all who emailed an offer. After all, she WAS the one who suggested I buy the Vette in the first place!
Who was it who said..."Women marry men expecting to change them and men don't change. Men marry women expecting them to stay the same and they don't" !!!!!
I love that one and soooo true!!

I happen to be blessed with a wife who not only understands my relationship with the car - she encouraged it! She loves the car and has told me that several times.
The best suggestion I can make to you my friend is to get her involved with the car, go on some couples cruises, go to a few car shows where there are other spouses, buy her a nice C5 jacket or shirt, and most of all let her have a voice when it comes to as they call it "accessorize" (we call it modding! )
My wife - who has NEVER washed a car in her life, actually took a microfiber towel out of my hand once at a show and wiped a spot that I missed! I almost fell over dead from the shock and awe! When asked if she owned a Corvette when someone saw her wearing her jacket - she said yes! Not my "Husband owns one" or "WE own one".
Ya...I really need to get her involved or she will be pissed when I start spending too much time and $$$ on the Vette. I already described some trips that I would like to plan with her......overnighter in Santa Barbara or Palm Springs, cruise the coast and do some wine tasting, etc...
I thinks she will warm up to it slowly, if the past is any indication.
But if she finds out that I have already bought mods for it, she will KILL me!!
So everyone just keep quiet now!!
Car update #2.....Spoke with the shipping company and the car will definately be here by Wednesday evening. I need to learn how to post pics so I can show off the new toy!!!
Thats what got me into this topic to begin with....
I was working on installing new siding on the front of my house and told the wife that I needed to stop in order to clean out the garage for the Vette!!! She thought otherwise!!
I am also in the middle of remodeling my Master Bathroom, Bedroom and Closet!! So spare time is nil right now....no time to build a garage!!
