Actually Jay does have the best "rep" in the "bizz" however his stock just skyrocketed in my personal view. Just think about it he dosnt own the "Prima donna" speicial, 'ferrari' that says a lot

One of the full time mechanics that has been with Jay for years shared with my son that he had known Jay Leno when he had nothing and the guy today is the very same as he was when he started. Jay is a real car nut and everything he owns he drives. Amazing as it sounds he does not own one Ferrari.

He'll sign a hundred autographs, pose for pictures and treat you like an old friend. His love for anything automotive is truly inspiring, and he always has time to talk cars!

I meet Jay sevral years ago and had the same feeling...Never been a big fan of his show, but a cool guy non-the-less.

I believe he started off in the early days as a Rolles Royce mechanic.

Nice opportunity for your son. I too have heard that Jay is a huge car fanatic and has a great collection of automobiles, bikes, etc.
