I bouught a nice 4 layer cover at Sam's or Costco for around $50. It is made by Wolfe and fits great. It does not have the seprately sewn in mirror pockets but I figured I coudl live without those.

This is what I have been using for the past 4 years:

http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...J8T41KKLSC5MNE

It is very light, a bit stiff when new (softens with age and washings), and fairly durable - all for $89.

Dan,
I worked for Kimberly Clark (process/product development) during the years that they developed their fabrics (Evolution 4 and NOAH brands) for the car cover industry. You would be amazed at the amount of research and technology that is put in to these types of fabrics. The level of testing that KC does is second to none in the industry!! I also worked for a smaller company that made the "low-end" fabrics that went into the car cover industry. I can tell you from experience that the saying "You Get What You Pay For" is VERY accurate for car covers!!

So, with that said, I would recommend that you up your minimum about $25 - $40 and look for a high quality cover. Even if you think you will only need it for indoor use, I would recommend you buying a good outdoor cover that can give you full coverage just in case you need it!!!

My specific recommendation would be a cover made with the NOAH brand fabric. It is THE BEST quality cover for the price!!

Good luck w/ your search!!

Coverbond 3 from midamerica motors. I paid $89 and it offers good indoor and outdoor protection. It is gray and comes with a storage bag.

Dave,
I am pretty sure that that particular cover is not made with the NOAH fabric. I am almost (not 100%) positive that all covers made w/ the NOAH brand fabric are advertised with their name in the write-up. This one you linked to does not mention it. I am pretty sure that your cover is a generic, UV stable, spunbond/meltblown/spunbond (3 layer) laminate.

Again, I wouldn't bet-the-bank. But I bet if you contacted them, you would find out that I am right. I have NEVER seen a NOAH cover less than around $125.

I bought this same one I believe this guy is talking about. It was the Kimberly-Clark Block-it 300. http://www.block-it.com/home.htm.

If you look on several sites, you will find that this one sells for about $100+ whereas Costco had it I believe in the $50 range if I remember correctly. I even went home and checked the web before I bought it....it appears to be the same as one of the higher end Wolf covers but you might want to check it for yourself to mke sure it is what you are looking for.
