is Amcor the company who supplies the locks to GM? I have no info on the drivers door, Oaks, you say you have an extra key, does this mean you have a master key? and if so that doesn't seem to safe for other wheels if you can get a master key. My slots are on the outside so I guess this means it's a factory lock. I thank everyone for their advice I am learning, guess if all else fails I'll use the socket and hammer trick.

Did your car come with the owners manual in that little leather portfolio. Your lock key info will be in there on a little card. You can then contact Amcor for a replacement.
Yes, the card with the number might be in the owners manual if the previous owner was nice enough to put it in there. The previous owner of my car was not nice enough.
a large custom wheel and tire shop has certain tools that can
take it off it happened to me and they got it off with no problems
i got new locks and that was it.
if you just bought your car at a dealer, they should be responsible for the wheel lock, whether if its there or not....
The brakes should have been checked during the reconditioning process before the car goes on the sales lot. Some tech at the dealer had to have the wheels off. I would go by the selling dealer i have them handle it. Beside most dealers should have a master set of locks. If you go elsewhere you would be responsible for an damage to your wheel when trying to get the locks off
These worked great for me, you have to use one size smaller than you think, tap them on with a hammer to set the cutting flutes and then turn right off.

If you can't find the key. I've used this type before. Very simple, no beating and pounding necessary. Have heard that the only thing they don't work on is the type of locking lug with a collar that spins.
Here's one to make you wonder. I purchased 01 rims that resulted in a lug nut change over. Factory locks came with the rims. However, no key could be found. I bought a new set of factory locks on line. The key from the on line purchase is an exact fit for the locks that came with the rims................................
