Looking for a custom reciever ( cd/dvd/gps ready) to put in my 99 coupe. I am looking for a double din. I plan on removing the ashtray, dropping the a/c controls down in order to fit the screen. If anyone knows what i am talking about please post pictures and the model. Thanks in advance.

I want on too.......I do not want that flip up screen look though, a flush mounted screen would be my choice. Anyone out there have one?

Check out the Kenwood. I think it's the KDX7015. It's next on my list. H/C going in right now.

The Pioneer product you want is the AVIC D1. Its a double DIN unit:

Follow this link and select the AVIC D1 tab at the bottom:

Just so you know the D1 does not play video at all. If you want to watch movies you will need an outside dvd player. The hottest dbl din on the market is by Eclipse. Sorry I do not know the model number. It is also the most pricey has is packed filled with features including a 40gig hard drive and on board DVD. Also unlike other units it does not require the Nav discs to in the player while using the navigation. It can store the information on the hard drive. Units like the AVIC N1 require the nav disc to be in the player while the nav is in use. Check out the audio section for more information.
