Hi Doug. I couldn't let it go by without some response. I don't want to see anyone get screwed like you, I, and many others did. I hope people realize the type of person Chuck Mars is, after all, he did get thrown off this very forum the very first day he spoke. That should tell all. Have a great day!
Yea, if anybody noticed that chuck wasn't at Carlisle, I wonder why?
PDS does not do their own chrome plating. They send out their stuff to Advanced Plating in Nashville, TN.
As for the etching, Design Specialties (Aaron) did his own etching, and I would assume that PDS bought the etching equipment from Aaron and that they are still doing their own etching.
I saw their "simulated plastic chrome" at Bloomington this spring, and the quality was terrible!
Check out www.CorvetteChrome.com. They have great parts at very reasonable prices. They are good people and would do anything to satisfy their customers. Hoping they continue to expand their product line.

Checked out the website and the prices look good with free shipping, but only four items available. I hope they do expand their line.
Everyone is trying to imitate what D.S. started......Even CEC copied some of their designs(door prop)....Could be wrong.....Corvette Chrome has Aarons brake master cylinder cover and Aaron's Intake Cover....and probably copied the Cowl from Aarons but did it in Stainless... ..I don't even know why I care anymore, My car is done......I Have a Masterpeice and Aaron to thank for that..... So whoever decides to come along next, they will have a "Tough Act to Follow".....

All four products they have say they are polished stainless.
I'm too new to know the history of this guy or his business practices, but it might be that what saved this transaction from going sour is the fact that it was handled through e-bay and he took it more seriously as a three-party sale than a private two-party matter. Unless he only deals through e-bay. In which case, I'm all wrong on the issue.
I saw those 2 cars at Atwood Lake car show, really nice cars, the retro won best modified and his buddy took second. Cornfussed tho, site says Corvette Chrome but only has polished stainless listed for sale.
