I have success! I was able to cut open the relay on my control module in my passenger side door and cleaned the contacts. The door lock works great now. I want to thanks everyone who sent me links to the same type issues and who gave me the schematics for the module.
I took pictures of the entire operation and would like to post this for anyone who whould like to save money by fixing their own.
I found this to be a real easy job that most anyone could do. It saved me $245 at dealer for the module. It took me about one hour to do the job. Don't give the dealership the satisfaction of replacing the module.
I must say though, that using emory cloth to clean the contacts did not work out. I had to use a metal nail file that I modified to fit into the contacts. Worked great.
Can anyone tell me how to do the write up? I have a lot of pics.
