relocation overseas...value question?
details are as follows: 2001 vert, z51, 1sc, pretty much every option except for selective ride control, high polished, 45k miles, quicksilver on black, auto. hate to part with it but 1. cant export it to hong kong since it's all right hand drive over there and 2. there arent any gm dealers over there. thanks for all the help.

I'm in the same boat as you. I move back to England next year. England is RHD and there's only one official dealer in the country. That said, there are many enthusiast shops who can do most of the work on the car. I have a great mechanic in my local town who races cars as a hobby. You could have spares sent over from the US. It may take a while and the car may be down for a short time but its doable.
Shipping to UK is reasonably cheap at about $1000. I would guess HK would be similar.
Driving LHD in UK is easy when you get used to it. With the power you can overtake at will. Granted Hong Kong is a little more crowded but you get used to city driving even with the steering wheel on the wrong side
I ran the Camaro in England for 4 years and it was head turner. Imagine the looks if you drove the Vert. Just a thought
My Vert is making the trip.
