Well they're in and working and I now plan a quick ride to check out how warm they are.
The kit from Sports Imports has every thing you need including a plug and play harness and inline fuses. Very easy to fit.
The install went quite smoothly. Ken's installation instructions were invaluable. I stripped out the insert to fit the back pad. I just loosened the bottom cover and slid the bottom pad into the slot. That saved some time over a full stripdown. There's some pretty fierce velcro on the inside of the sports seats. Took a bit of flak damage The velcro sculpts the details on the seats. The heating pads stop it conencting so the seat cover lays a little flatter than originally. Not a big deal and it still looks fine. I hooked up the wiring to fuse #22 and tapped into the ground from my AVIC player.
Its cloudy and mid 50s in Vegas today so its ideal for a test drive.
Maybe I'll drop by Hooters and see if I can pick up the Florida style heaters
Thanks to Bill Curlee TOOGECKO and barrynk for the advice

Wonder if you could put some replacement velcro on the heating pads to help hold the original look of the seatskins?
I like the FLA heaters myself, but can't afford them as they usually come with a divorce
Looking at doing this aftermarket kit also, but with some type of racing seat...

Just as an FYI, the kit I bought from pfyc.com was custom fit; there were slots in the heating pads for the velcro to pass through. The end result looked factory. I think the custom kit was $25 more (per seat) than the one-size-fits-all kit.
Can anybody give me some feedback on the circuit board located under the traction control panel? Looked at previous post (gtoformula2) and e-mailed him but no response yet. My question is the effect of trimming the corner of this board to make room for seat switches. In the posted pics, it appears that some of the circuitry was also trimmed off. Is there any compromises in doing this (I have traction control with air bag indicator light only)...
