Today I received my frame savers from a forum authorized vendor. There the ones with 2 wheels for each side. They arrived in a week and they are as advertised, rubber wheels seem nice and strong and I see no reason for them not to work, and since my drive way is steep I cant wait to get them on. Price was $30.00 and the seller replied promptly to all my questions, we need all are vendors to be like Loni (vendor). His e-mail address if anyone is interested is JAVELIN2@msn.com and he advertises on e bay. Tom
From: I'm not quite middle aged and I only own one gold chain! San Jose CA
I bought the A&A frame savers and have been very happy with them. On the few occasions that they have been needed I could actually feel the car rolling on them...much prefer that over the sick thud I heard the first time I took a driveway that was too steep for the Vette...what a sick feeling that was. The frame savers are worth the money if only for the peace of mind they give!

same here...you should weld the wheel frames to the skidbar..not just bolt on...my single wheels from Andy work just fine...and the rocker rails are a blessing also...

Exactly what I did to my C5 four years ago. To lift the car on a contact lift I use hard rubber hockey pucks between the rails and the lift pad.

Sounds good. I'm waiting to hear some feedback from a few members before I order....however it does sound like a good product.
yup received mine yesterday, its exactly what he says it is. Took 5 min to install after I drove up onto ramps. THis one is one of the it took longer to get the car up in the air then it does to do the actual install. So far so good. Good product for a good price, cant ask for more.
Are you talking about this? Even though they are nice. They will not protect your front end from scrapping on a steep driveway, they sit to far back compared to where the nose of the vehicle is. But I put them on anyway.
Thats what the rails are for..so you don't need pucks
Unless I use pucks, the rubber pads on the four arms of a commercial garage contact lift can still touch the fiberglass on the two sides on the frame rails and that contact can cause cracks. I wish that A&A's rails were a little thicker so I would not have to use the pucks.
