What do you guys think about having a spare set of OEM 17" Z06 wheels strictly for putting drag radials on for when you want to go to the track or weekend or whatever temporary purpose???
Are there any better ways or drawbacks? I want to avoid going to a drag wheel...I think this way would be nice to keep stock appearance..
I do not want to run drag radials full time, I like the F1's for the street...but maybe that will change when i start adding power to the car

i run 17X9.5 zo6 fronts with nittos drags on the rear for track only. works fine for me. i don't want to drive around on drag radials full time, that's why i decided on mine.
The T1 races use 17" all around. Lighter and faster wheel.
go 4 it
Yep. I use 17x11 CCWs on the rear with 315/35-17s. The larger sidewalls help put down the power coming out of slow speed corners. Might help at the drag strip as well. The only rubbing issue I have with the 315s rear is a little bit on the inner wheel well on the passenger side just over the brake duct in high G left hand turns on a banked oval (e.g. at Gateway in St. Louis.).
