For what it's worth, I had the EBC Green Stuff pads on my SVT Focus and hated them. In fact, I sent EBC an e-mail voicing my displeasure with them, but never received a response. They gave off more dust than the OEM pads. If you're racing they're probably fine, but I'd never use them on a daily driver.

few things you can do to re-hab. your rotors.
Most complete method would be to remove the rotors from the car and soak them in a bucket with Oxisolv Rust Remover.
This removes the rust from the entire rotor (inside and out) and leaves a Zinc coating to inhibit the return of rust.
Of course you will get new rust on the firepath where the pad touches the rotor. But after the first application of the brakes, that rust goes away.
If you have drilled and slotted rotors, use a q-tip and clear hi-temperature paint in the slots and holes.
And I've been told to avoid ceramic pads due to the increased heat they create. Apparently they will scorch the rotors.

Do you think that rust will go away on it's own??? Do you think it wont bleed rust on to your new rotors... ????? I sometimes wonder why people pm me so often and so many times on the same issue but then do what they wanted to do originally anyway.
