I'm going to display my '53 Commemorative Edition Corvette in an upcoming St. Louis Auto Show as part of the Original Corvette Club display. I'm trying to find some kind of protective guards (not the free standing that can tip over) that will keep people from getting too close to the car. If you know what they are called or where I can find a pair or 4 of them please post or email me. Thanks! scrobson@charter.net

Cut the end off of an extension cord and bare the wires. Tape the ends down and wet the area around the car. Plug it in. That should do the trick. Sorry, I'm not completely awake yet.
Well,......If you just look arround on the roadways and just how people act, you MIGHT want to get a couple of PIT BULLS! A good friend of mine was at the "Seattle" show and he had to go to the bathroom when he got back his beloved car was FULL of kids while their so called "parents" were just laughing and whooping it up

take a flat pieces of steel, about 8 x 8x eight inch thick and have someone weld rigid 1/2 in.conduit to them at an angle so when the plates are under the tires , and positioned in a way that the angled tubes stick out the side and front and rear,,so you can hang that plastic chain all the way around your car. weld a threaded chain link to the top so you can fasten the chain to them...
cant knock them over,,, and they are easy to make
hope I explained it enough...
I made about 10 sets of these for a local car club when I used to show indoors....had them powder coated and
Thanks for your help. Actually, someone else had talked to us about these, but we were not clear on what they were. I'll check into getting some made...and I may need to talk to you again. Thanks.
