Default What are these?

I found one of these under each seat. Anybody have a clue as to what they are for? All power functions work ok. I fixed the rocking problem so I know they don't go in there.(too wide) [IMG][/IMG]

Im at work and I dont get pictures (just RED X's) but, without even seeing the pics, I bet that they are little white plastic C shaped do dads anout the size of a quarter and about 1/4" thick!

I found two under my seat when the car was new and the dealer could'nt even tell me what they were or what they went to. I still have them! Maybe they will be worth a fortune some day.

What are you . . . some kind of psychic??? this place is amazing!

Let me try -
Ok, I'm at work too, I can't see the pic but is there a ruler with "J.L. Hammett, No. 21212, Made in U.S.A." stamped on it? just a wild guess. I'm constantly amazed at the knowledge on this forum!!!

Stop surfing the net and get back to work! If we can collect enough of these we could open a store.

Nope. Widget-gizmos
Looks like some type of stand-off. Never seen beneath my seats but I wonder if they were there to maybe keep the bottom cushion from rubbing on a wire? I like to assume that GM did everything for a reason!

I believe the Owner's Manual refers to them as "Shammalammadingdongs".

Extra pieces to add weight and potential squeaks, otherwise known as Widget-gizmos.

Actually there is nothing under there to prevent the cushion from rubbing on the wire. I put some burlap in between the wires and the new foam I installed to prevent those wires from cutting thru the foam. I found that little secret somewhere. I hope it works.

Don't have a clue as to what they are. I didn't notice any of them when I had my seats out.
