Default Code Question

I'm new here to the forum and have a couple questions surrounding the diagnostic codes pulled from my Vette. I have an 03 MN6 and under the guidance of this forum discovered how to review the codes in the DIC. Everything appears great with the exception of a history code relating to the left and right doors...( A1-RDCM - Right Door Control Module and A0-LDCM - Left Door Control Module ). The U1064 Loss of Communications with BCM code is displayed(with the H indicating it was a past problem). What would cause this? It has 460 miles on it and the only time it has ever been to the local crappy dealer is for the column lock issue under the recall. It's rarely driven, so this is a shock to me. I replaced the AC Delco battery with an Optima. Would this cause the code to occur when disconnecting battery power? Just curious and trying to learn.

Thanks in advance for the guidance!

Default History Codes on DIC

It may very well be that disconnecting the battery, or a low battery voltage caused the codes to 'set', and when the new battery was installed the situation corrected itself, after a certain number of cycles. Since they were 'history', (H), you should be able to reset them on the DIC, and then recheck later to see if they reoccur.

Welcome to the Forum!

The codes you have most likely came from the battery being disconnected...

Peace
