Default Tires Need help!!!

Which Michelin should I purchase Pilot Sports or the Pilot Sport PS2?
Both seem to be great tires but nothing but the best for the Vette.

Thanks,
The Big Dog

Depends on what you are using the Vette for...
See Car and Driver december 2005 issue. they rated the top 11 ultra performance tires...

On dry roads the BFG TDK's were stickiest.
Overall GoodYear GS-D3's were the "best tire"
Micheline finished between 3rd and 8th in each category as I recall.
there are serveral summaries of the results in the wheel and tire section

This is one of the threads you can follow.... there are several others

If you want the "Best", the Goodyear GSD3s are it - and less expensive at that!

When I replace these tires I have, they will be with GSD3s, I am not going to put that off anymore.

The Goodyear GS D3's are the overall best performing value for a daily driver. The Michelin PS2's are the newer upgrade from the regular older Sports which are slowly being phased out. Compare tire pricing with the Tire Rack, Discount Tire, Costco, Walmart, and, Sears. Good luck to you.

I have the Pilot Sport AS ZP on my daily driver, I love the traction and the ride!

these will be what we'll put on our C5 when needed (based on having and liking the Pilot Sport AS on our 2000 TransAm).

Remember, there is one other reason -- NO SPARE or jack on our C5 -- so 'run flats' are sort-of a requirement.
